Golf Scramble

As we head into another spring, I hope the season is off to a strong start for everyone. It’s always an exciting time of year, and before long we’ll once again have the chance to come together for one of our favorite annual traditions — the MABA Golf Tournament.

This year marks our 6th annual event, a milestone we’re proud to celebrate. What began as a way to reconnect after the challenges of the Covid years has grown into a key gathering for our membership and an important fundraiser for the Montana Ag Business Foundation. Thanks to your continued support, the tournament has helped MABF expand its ability to provide scholarships and contribute to meaningful projects across our industry.

We’ve taken a close look at the feedback many of you provided after last year’s tournament, and we’re excited to roll out several improvements. The biggest change is a new location — we’ll be hosting the tournament at Elks Pine Meadows in Lewistown on the 22nd of July. The desire for a new venue came through loud and clear, and we’re looking forward to making this year’s event even better.

We’ll stick with the popular 18‑hole, 4‑person scramble format, but we are updating our handicap approach and will now award prizes for both net and gross team scores. Our goal is to make the competition more balanced, more fun, and more rewarding for everyone

Above all, this tournament remains an opportunity to step away from the busy spring and summer stretch, reconnect with friends and colleagues, and enjoy a day on the course before fall gears up.
